This will be followed by the Super 8 stage from June 19th to 25th. The semi-finals will be played on June 26th and 27th, with the final scheduled for June 29th at the iconic Kensington Oval in Barbados. The Guyana National Stadium in Providence was built ahead of the 2007 Cricket World Cup. Located on the banks of the Demerara River, this stadium can accommodate around 22,000 spectators. Along with the semi-final on June 27th, Providence will host a total of 5 group-stage matches.
The Kensington Oval in Barbados is the Caribbean's biggest cricket stadium, with a capacity of 28,000 fans. For over 120 years, it has hosted international cricket matches and events. It was also the venue where England won the 2010 T20 World Cup final against Australia. Renamed after Trinidad's favourite cricketing son, Brian Lara, in 2008, this stadium is situated near San Fernando. Its capacity is around 15,000. After extensive upgrades, Brian Lara Cricket Academy will host 4 group matches from June 12th and a semi-final on June 26th.
This multi-purpose 18,000-capacity stadium in Arnos Vale has hosted international cricket since 1981. For the T20 World Cup, it will host Bangladesh vs. Netherlands on June 13th, along with three other group stage matches and two Super 12 games between June 22nd and 24th. This stadium in the Rodney Bay area of St Lucia was renamed after former West Indian captain Daren Sammy in 2016.
